SpaceVision 2009
University of Arizona SEDS to host National Conference, SpaceVision 2009 this November 12-15 The annual Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) national conference, SpaceVision 2009, is being held this November 12th - 15th at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. Tours of the Pima Air & Space Museum, Titan Missile Museum, Kitt Peak National Observatory, and the Steward Observatory Mirror lab are being arranged during the day on November 12th with the official conference opening that night. November 13th - 15th will serve as the main conference days, with talks from several speakers including Peter Diamandis (Founder and Chairman of the X PRIZE Foundation), Simon P. Worden (NASA Ames Research Center Director), Chris Lewicki (Mars Phoenix Mission Manager; MER Flight Director), and Guillermo Sohnlein (Managing Director of the Space Angels Network). Several other events will occur throughout the conference including a career fair with many prominent space-related companies as well as several SEDS-USA workshops for planning the organization's future.
