The Todd B. Hawley Award recognizes a student who has shown exceptional commitment and community-driven leadership to SEDS and the broader space community through service, collaboration, and dedication – reflecting the legacy of our co-founder Todd B. Hawley.
Co-founded SEDS and the International Space University (ISU). Served as ISU’s first chief executive officer and as a facility member in the Space Humanities Department.
Hawley was a lifelong advocate of human space exploration unit his death in 1995 at the age of 34.

Open to all active SEDS members that are currently enrolled collegians.
