Matthew Kuhn is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Skybound Medtech, a Houston-based company building the medical technologies that will allow humans to live and work beyond Earth. The company develops breakthrough medical capabilities for the most demanding environments in human experience, beginning with long-duration spaceflight, and translates each one into military medicine and civilian healthcare, where the same technologies address conditions affecting hundreds of millions of patients.

A serial inventor and company builder, Kuhn has spent his career originating breakthrough medical technologies and creating the commercial vehicles that bring them to market. He is a named inventor on more than 50 U.S. patents and patent applications, and his work has produced multiple venture-backed medical technology companies. He holds a Master of Bioengineering from Rice University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Delaware.
